So today of all days poor Jordan had a horrible bout of diaherria all down the hallway and a little in the living room. Now this normally wouldn't bother me because lets face it we all have it from time to time. I mean it's just lucky my carpet and bissel don't get a work out when I have it Ha-Ha.... But today my precious 6 month old cousins daughter is coming to stay for a few days. His wife is a little protective so this is a big thing I've been cleaning like crazy to ensure everything will be just so. Now it's 4am my time and I just finished bisseling and hope to get another round in before this afternoon.

The thing is what if they notice the smell?? What am I suppose to say? The only thing I can think of is "Well it must be alot like living with Makenzie sometimes waking up thinking what's that smell?"

Then I'm sure they'll bundle sweet Makenzie up and run screaming from my house never to return...

Why today of all days?

This reminds me of years ago when I had my cocker pup and my parents electricity went out, my fussy sis in law and brother were staying at our parents. Puppy got into and ate several crayons and I woke up to pretty colored poop. I don't know what i'd say...but since you cleaned it all I wouldn't worry it's just what you decide is the best to say! S----happens!

Sprinkle baking soda in the carpet, leave it in a bit, then vacuum.

Yes, open windows and light some candles. Humans gets diaherria so does dogs, cats...etc! You can't raise your baby in germ free always good smelling environment. It is part of life. Before they mention the smell maybe tell them what is going on, but reasure them that you have made sure the place is clean. Good Luck!

Nature's Miracle works good. And maybe some Fabreze???

Open the windows! Open the doors! If you have box fans or table fans, point them outside and turn them on. Air the place out! Air fresheners, lysol, febreeze...whatever. Good luck!

Got any air freshener? These things usually happen when it is the most inconvenient. Would you like our doberman with the weak digestive system? Thanks to her the mess the cats and corgis make seems like nothing!
