We got the results back late last night and they were not what we wanted to hear. The mass they removed was cancerous, soft tissue sarcoma. It is an aggressive cancer and will grow back since they were not able to get all of it.
We have a call in to see the oncologist next week to see what our next step is. One thing that was pointed out was that it had not hit the lymph nodes, so it could just be a localized tumor. We're just not sure what we are going to do. Nor do we know how much this is going to cost us either. :/
We appreciate all the support, thoughts, and prayers we've received and we will continue to update as we learn new information.
If anything, this bought us some more time with him.

We're so sorry to hear that. Healing hugs to you all....
I'm so sorry to hear that about your pup :( I went through the same thing with my riley check out his page on here. He passed away but I dedicated a page to his memory. Sir Riley of Pembroke should be the name on the page. All I can suggest is do whatever you can for him medically and make sure to spoil him!
I'm so sorry to hear about the little guy. Sending you warm Corgi thoughts and hugs.
So very sorry for this sad news. Please know you both and Ein are in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm so sorry. :( Hugs to all of you.
I hope you will have some reasonable options since it is still localized. I also hope the surgery has helped him at least for now, allowing you to gain more time for clarity. Sending loving thoughts your way.
Oh, dear. That is so very sad. I'm sorry to hear it.
So sorry...I was hoping it would be good new!
I am so very sorry to hear this. Many prayers and good thoughts. Hopefully there are treatment options that will work. Any time you get to spend with Ein is extra good.
