I've been trying to figure out what exactly Wrigley is for the last few months. I have had several people tell me he is just a big Corgi (and not show quality), I have had people tell me he looks like a Sheltie (I don't think so) and a few people told me he is just a poorly bred Corgi (I prefer "unique" so his feelings aren't hurt). He is about 35 lbs and seems to be about the size of a Beagle (I haven't seen him next to a Corgi yet), but much broader. I have tons of pictures of him on my page, any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I plan on eventually getting a doggie DNA test to confirm, but they are a little more than I can afford right now.

Supercorgi? That's just Wrigley's Clark Kent persona you're seeing. Just a little bigger with slightly longer legs than most corgis? Looks like a good physique for a dog, actually.

His ear would make me think he has something else mixed in...I know what my Aussie's look like but I see this curl in the one...does anyone know if a border collie ar sheltie have the smaller curled ear??? He is VERY handsome...how long(shoulder back to but) and tall is he?Whatever he is I'm sure you love him...

Don't let the tail throw you; since Pems have been docked, there is apparently a wide variety of tail types out their. The ones I have seen are usually a bit bushier, but they can carry them high. Here's a picture of Jack's sire, an undocked Pem from FInland, flagging his tail high in play. Notice the curve; when he's relaxed the tail hangs like a fox's brush.

He definately looks like a mix to me, but he is cute as all hell. I think he is adorable and VERY photogenic. I love the one where he is squinting his eyes. It might be something small, like one of his grandparents was a mutt and the rest were corgis. You could always do one to those DNA tests. Start a pool and see who wins. It would be kind of fun.

Thanks! I think he is adorable no matter what he is. He's all Corgi to me. :)

I was thinking Shiba Inu too, but I think he's too broad to be a Basenji. I think he might be 3/4 Corgi and 1/4 mix. I watched some videos of a red and white Cardi on You Tube and he looked just like it. I was wondering after watching them if he might be some sort of weird Pembroke/ Cardigan mix. His tail is normally only up if he is walking or extremely happy, otherwise it's down like an undocked Pembroke or Cardigan.

I think one half might be Corgi and the other "half" might actually be a mix. Someone mentioned Shiba Inu, but I was thinking more Basenji. They are not that common, but who knows? Cute dog!

I'm just going off of the tail here in saying Shiba Inu but of course I have no idea if a undocked pemmy's tail curls, I wouldn't think so though because he cardi's tail doesn't

I think corgi and somebody bigger like a lab. He got the best of both worlds from the look of it!
