It seems like just yesterday we brought Lance home!


We are enjoying having Lance as part of our family. Lance got to go to his first corgi meetup back in March of this year. It was so much fun getting together with other corgi friends. I couldnt stop taking pictures.

Lance took his 2nd nine hour car ride this past summer. He was a bit puzzled when we all woke up at four in the morning with luggage packed and ready to go into the car. I called him to get his leash on me and he looked at me funny, lol. The last time we had luggage packed and ready to go it was his, that was last October as the family was headed to Disney, and couldnt take Lance with us. We decided to board him at a pet resort so he could run, play and have fun!!! In all these years of having Lance it was the only vacation we couldnt take him on, I dont think he minded too much. Yes we missed him as Im sure he missed us too, but he forgave us. So when we are getting ready to go to Michigan this past summer he was very hesitant to come and get his leash on him, so I asked him, do you want to go see Grandma and Grandpa? Lance came running to me to get his leash on him!!! I sooo wish I could have videod that, it was sooo cute. Grandma and Grandpa have two locations one that is only an hour away from us and the second location is 9 hours away, which he didnt know we were going to the 9 hour location, whoops!! Lance did fairly well in the car though, but not as good as his first 9 hour trip when he was a whole 2 years younger!!! Its amazing how two years can make a difference in a car trip. I have to say on they way home we kept an extra seat up to use for him to seat belt him in, and he did much better!!!

We also have come across Lances half siblings on mycorgi this year, it is very exciting!!! :) Lance has enjoyed making friends and being able to hang out with his buddies from mycorgi as well. :)

Lance has given us so many great memories and looking forward to many many many more!!!!

Oh yeah, what are we going to do to celebrate? Well I think that Lance will be getting a new toy called the Canine Genius...its a Treat Release Puzzle Toy. I am sooo excited I found one of these as I have seen them online before but never in the stores by us until tonight!! I feel like this whole month has been dedicated to Lances birthday as I have bought him 2 new toys..one is a rubber log and the other is a cow shaped tough stuffed toy. These toys are only played with strict interactive play as Lance will rip them to shreds otherwise!!! He also got a new crate, bigger size. He loved his old kennel and fit okay, he just couldnt stretch out which he didnt seem to mind too much. It only took Lance a day to get used to his new kennel....it was funny to watch him inspect his new one, like whats this for, lol. Oh yeah and he got a tag silencer for his tags. I was going to check out with my purchases when I saw a Im Spoiled tshirt, I had to tell myself no, lol. Maybe he will get that for Christmas. :)

We not only celebrate Lances birthday in October, but the day before his birthday is his human sisters bday and the 12th of October is his other human sisters bday and on the 23rd is my sisters bday. Wow, I am Birthday'd out LOL

I have to get my pictures organized so I can upload them and hopefully get some videos posted of him. I love pictures.
