Hi Natalie and Lance!
Is that a picture of you guys on Lake Michigan shoreline? I used to live up in Chicago and worked for the Rueben H Donnelley's field marketing company....so I know the city well.
Natalie, your Corgi, Lance, is without a doubt,... the most beautiful and unigue looking Corgi I have ever seen.
I did not get my first Corgi, Pippi, until I moved back home to Baton Rouge to be with my parents. I cannot imagine having one in Chicago and being able to keep it as active as Pippi liked to be.
Walking it on Michigan Avenue would be frightening for me (scared of him getting stepped on).
BUT, I do have these two best friends of mine that I visit quite often.....and last summer, we walked from their apartment ( 2123 N. Clark Street....RIGHT across the street from where the St. Valentine's Day massacre took place!).....to this neat area along the beach where they have all these cool activities to play around and get a beer or play games, etc.... ....and the dogs would probably love it there.
I am going to be in Baton Rouge a little longer, while my Mom is still alive....and then I am npt sure where I am relocating to.....but it will have to be some place that is Corgi-friendly!
Pippi was my best friend and the love of my life after I broke up with my guy in Chicago!
Best wishes to you and thank you so much for the kind words! Until someone has owned a Corgi.....they do not know what they are missing!
I may be flying out to southern Utah in a few weeks to go hiking, and I will make sure to visit Best Friends again to volunteer for a few days! If I see a rescue Corgi.....he or she might be coming home with me!
Kind Regards,
Merrie Whitlock
Thanks for your comments on my video. They were just WILD and that made me think to use that song. Sadie acted like a little maniac. And she kept herding Dash. She just wanted to be all over him for some reason. Not being mean....just wanted to be all over him :) Just excited I guess. He is only the second dog she has been around since I got her. I need to find her more friends so she will learn to play a litte calmer. Little Dash was SO good and so sweet and he minded everything Kris told him. No obedience training. Just a naturally good dog she said. He is same age as Sadie. I offered to trade but she wouldn't (I was kidding of course). I pity the fool that tries to take my baby from me! LOL
You are so welcome! Actually ACV is I guess what you would call a natural "cure-all" — it's antibacterial and antifungal, which obviously helps to heal chewed up paws. It restores the skin's PH to help with itchy, scratchy areas. And it also has very high levels of potassium, which def. helps with allergies/the immune system overall. (<--- More than anyone would ever want to know about ACV! ha ha)
Lol, I've licked my finger accidentally after spraying the same bitter spray that you bought and it's super bitter/yucky! However, it was not effective against Ein. He would just lick it up! How's Lance doing? Is the spray working on him?
Hi Natalie, how are you and Lance doing? Butter is healing a bit but still can't go on a walk longer than about 10 minutes. I guess that is the way it will be for his lifetime. Too sad... Joy and Butter
