I just wanted to let everyone know how good my Baby Boy is doing in his obedience classes.  We are in the 4th week and he is so smart.  Of course I know that all Corgi's are smart and learn quickly and that makes me very proud of him every time we go to class.  The instructor asked me last week if Solomon has ever been "Shown", because he was doing exactly like he was performing in a show ring!  I was so proud when he said that.  My little "bad boy" was becoming a sweetie!  He still has a bad habit of when he thinks enough of this mess, he lays down on his back and wiggles from side to side and grins the whole time.  We have learned, heeling, sit, stay and down.  We worked on recall last week.  The down for Solomon is funny because half the time he rolls over for a belly rub.  The instructor said the he doesn't care as long as they are down, but Solomon gets a giggle whenever its "down time".  On the recall he is very good, he does it slowly but he still comes.  I have also discovered that I have spoiled him so very, very bad.  When we take our breaks for cooling off and getting water, I brought a bowl from home and provide Solomon with fresh water.  I have a frozen bottle for me.  Solomon refuses to drink his water.  I was so concerned that he wasn't drinking, that I took my bottle tipped it over and put the water in my hand and he drank like a dog that was thirsting to death.  On the next break I tried to get him to drink his water from his bowl and again he would not drink.  He wants Mommies frozen cold water from her bottle!!!!! A couple that has their dog in class thought this was hysterical!  So I informed Solomon that I would bring him his own frozen bottle of water to the next class!  He is such a blessing every single day and I count myself very fortunate to have found him.  I miss my little Chloe and talk to Solomon alot about her, but I would not take a gold nickle for him.

Ya'll he is surprising me more and more each day.  Today it was quiet around my neighborhood and I took him off leash to do his business.  I thought well he is doing so good that I need to trust him, he has proven that he loves me and has not showed any sign of trying to bolt.  He walked with me and did both of his businesses without running off and caught his treats in mid air!!!!  I am going to practice with him really hard and see how far this can go!  Yay us!!!!!
