Is it common for corgis to have one eye that is 2 different colors? I don't mean blue and brown like the merles, but more like 2 different shades of brown? Frank's eyes are light brown on the outside and dark brown on the inside. I haven't seen this with any other brown eyed dogs I've known and didn't know if this was a Frank thing or a corgi thing? I've included pictures of his eyes so you can see what I mean.

Their eyes change color slightly when they are using their Corgi mind control on you.  Now you can tell when you are being brain scanned by Franklin in order to get more treats from you.  ;-)
It's a very common thing, I think.  Waffle and all of his breeder's dogs have that two-toned eye.
Teddy dosnt have brown eyes but they r a shade of blue/gray. They do what u have shown in the pics only the edges r almost star shaped. I'm thinking its normal:)
Hi Melissa, it's very common, there are two regions in the iris that contain pigment, or melanin: one is in the IPE, and the other is in the iris stroma.
Chewie has 1 blue eyes and 1 blue and brown eyes!
