When I got my corgi, I was told by the pet store that she was a purebred. However, over the last several months, I have received comments asking if she is a mix, due to the fact that she isn't as broad in the shoulders and her ears never came up. She's only 10 months old, so she may fill out eventually. I have attached a photo above. Can anyone tell me if she looks mixed and if so, what she might be mixed with? Thanks!

She looks like she's pure to me. If she came from a petstore it's possible she was originally from a puppy mill, and they generally don't care how closely a breeding dog matches the standard as long as they make puppies. As far as her ears, my guess is they just didn't get taped when she was young and they were too big and/or heavy to come up on their own.
Another thing is, at least from my experience, a lot of people don't really know what a corgi is supposed to look like. I get a LOT of comments about how small both of mine are, even though they're both at or above the standard weight. I think people are used to seeing corgis that are very overweight. She's still young and should fill out more as she gets older, a lot of corgis don't really fill out until they're 2 or so.
Dino and Coco say purebreed. What ever it is I love it.
She's adorable!!! Sometimes imperfection is perfection in a companion
