I got Ellie from a breeder when she was 8 weeks old and was such a wonderful puppy, weighing in at barley 4 pounds. We have enjoyed her so much the past 4 months. She will be 6 months old on the 6th of September and she only weighs 14 pounds. I am not used to having such a little dog. Shouldn't she go through another growth spert soon?? Anyone know if this is normal, or did I just get a very little corgi???

Hi Samantha, corgis fill out by the age of 2.
Sounds like a small Corgi, honestly.
She sounds like she might be on the small side to me too. Usually puppies grow about a pound per week.
she's probably going to be a small corgi. Franklin was 7 pounds at 8 weeks old and has topped out at 2 1/2 years old at around 29-30 pounds. A barely 4 pound 8 week old pup is likely to be a tiny little adult
Thanks guys! This is all very helpful information. I went back and looked at Ellie's vet records and she weighed in at 10 lbs on 7/21 and we weighed her again last week at 14 lbs so maybe there is still hope for the little thing. So 6 weeks and 4 lbs sounds like she may not be too far behind. According to the breeder her parents were both between 25 and 30 lbs.
To me, it sounds like your Ellie might be a little on the small side once she's full grown.  My own Ellie was about 6 lbs. by the time she was 9 weeks old.  Her record shows that at her last visit (15 weeks old) she weighed in at 8 lbs.  I'm betting she's up to almost 10 lbs. now (roughly 18 weeks old).
Emmy is 10 pounds at 5 months. I wish she was bigger so she could play with bigger dogs, but I do love her tiny size because I can carry her with one arm.
