Tootsie is gone

My baby was staying with a dog sitter while I left on vacation last Thursday...she got away from the sitter and was hit and killed by a school bus on Friday. I am so devastated - she was only two years old...I can't imagine life without her...

I am so sorry! There really is nothing to say to take your hurt away...except that I will be thinking of you and praying for you. It will take a lot of time to come to terms with what happened, but in the meantime, try to remember the good times you had. And don't blame yourself--

i am so, so sorry for your loss. It's heart breaking to lose a dog, especially one so young. I know when i lost my Sparta, i felt like i could never be whole again. My finacee surprised me with a memorial necklace one week after his passing; it was a small gemstone made from his ashes. I wear it everywhere i go. A lovely rescue friend of mine also made a set of wind chimes that we have his tags hung off of, that is in our front yard. It's a nice little memory of him. Morgana and Merlin send their love and puppy kisses <3

How horrible...I am so sorry for your sudden, unexpected loss. I have heard of this happening quite a bit this year...my heartaches for you and your family.
