Member Needing Help! No Longer Needing Transport.

Help Appreciated! My good friend and fellow member here, Kymii (Ziggy & Kymii) is currently in a bad situation and needs her corgi Ziggy transported from Salem, OR to Littleton, NH. The situation came up suddenly, and now she is left with only today. She doesn't have a car and nobody close to her is willing to help. Is there any way to do a transport chain so she doesn't lose her beloved Ziggy? How would we go about doing that? Thanks for reading.

what about a chipin to fly him there? Has she asked corgi rescues facebook page? I know she's a member on there and they do long distance transports a lot

Poor KymI! She's had a bad time lately. If she can work out a way to fly him and just needs help with expenses, I'd be glad to chip in some on it.

I could definitely help with a chip-in, and might be able to swing some driving within NY state, but I can't help with the beginning leg of the journey. :( Hopefully lots of people see this today!

Hi Cheetah, could you elaborate the situation? a cross country transport requires longer time to coordinate, may be an alternative can be arranged at this time? Is someone adopting Ziggy permanently?

I would like to add that, should a foster be needed, I am more than happy to do so. I could take him in at any time, even today if needed. :) If it can be arranged for someone to take him to an airport, then a Chip-In could be set up to get him to me and then I can handle all of his care until Kymii is ready to take him back. I'm not sure if a rescue could hold him until he gets to an airport, but that expands her options, at least.

Hey everyone! I think Kymii found a temporary solution last night. A rescue lady stepped up and agreed to foster Ziggy in return for some volunteer work, until Kymii can come up with the $250 pet deposit she needs to stay at her mom's place. She and her boyfriend are going to try and sell some of their stuff in order to raise this money - they are both unemployed right now and have just lost their apartment.

Kymii was originally going to go across the country with her boyfriend to his family's place, because they had said they were okay with Ziggy, and Kymii's mom had said no because of the pet deposit. But if she can stay put, that would probably work out better for her.
