To me he looks like he has some brindle coloring. How much does he weigh? He could also have more than 1 breed in him. I'm trying to figure out what smaller breeds come in the brindle coloring.

Cardigan do have a brindle color in its family but never seen a full brindle. He is a year old and weights 17 pounds

Smaller breeds other than Cardigans...how tall and long is he also? The tail has a fair amount of curl to it also.

If I count his tail he is few inches away from a yard.

Do you know where he came from? There are some dogs that are very common in the South that are almost never seen in the Northeast or Pacific Northwest, for instance.

I adopted him from a local Animal Shelter in southern California. Sadly Animal Shelters do not offer much information other then what is obvious. I wish i knew more
