For local events centered around corgis is it okay to go to make friends and interact with friendly corgis? I do want one when I am able. I also understand if there are certain restrictions for the event posted, but just in general, like parades and the Halloween events I see posted. Or would it be creepy?

Not at all!  Meet the corgis and talk to their humans!  Wonderful way to meet all sorts of corgis and those that care for them.  You can pick their brains (the caregivers not the corgis..they like to keep things close to the vest).  Of course always ask the humans if you can meet their charges and tell them why.  They will have so many things to tell you about living with one.

I don't think so  - seems like all the corgi people I've met LOVE to talk about their corgis.  Me included ;->

I think it's a great idea:)  What better of a way to learn about and meet Corgis!

If there is a contact number, I would call and let them know you are coming to meet corgi people and learn more about the breed.  They will be waiting and eager to share with someone like you that takes the time and effort to really learn.

Thank you for the replies. I would definitely call beforehand to make sure, even if it doesn't say, that people can go with and without corgis. I wouldn't want to disrupt anything.

I know I'm planning way ahead. The only events that are close will be after we move, but that's okay. I can't wait to move either.

It's a wonderful idea! Socialize with the corgis and their companions. Try to get a feeling for what the experience will be like when you have a corgi. Plus, it'll allow you to have fun and ask questions about things you may or may have not have known!
