As much as Bella doesn't appreciate how cute she looks in costume, she will be attending a doggy halloween party and will go out again with the grandkids so we need to find an extra special costume this year.

Is anyone's dog part of their costume? What is your dog's costume this year for Halloween?

HAHA! That's great! Not to mention I love sushi!
We got invited to a Halloween party at our obedience school, so of COURSE I had to go find a costume, right?

I found a cute cow costume at PetSmart, and amazingly, he does not seem to mind it much.

We got the Chicken costume. Mochi didn't mind it either its actually pretty funny! and of course cute!!

I saw the cutest skunk costume at a pet store and got it for Ginny, but when I got home and tried it on her, it wasn't long enough. The tail part started at the middle of her back and sort of just flopped off the side of her. Stupid. So, I found a costume at a different store (a giraffe - cute!) and went to take back the skunk costume to the first store and they told me all costume sales are FINAL. Now, this is the day after I purchased and well before Halloween, so I made a little stink about it and they finally decided they could find a way in their hearts to give me store credit. So Ginny got some new treats, too!

Anyhow, we practiced wearing our giraffe costume last night. She doesn't love it. She especially doesn't like the part that goes over her ears and tries to shake it off. She gave me "that look" like she was simply mortified and embarrassed to wear it outside when we went out to do potty. But I think if we practice a little more, she'll be ok with it when Halloween rolls around.

She got a winter jacket this weekend, too... not a big fan of it either, but it is starting to get cold out now and I think it will help her stay warmer when we go to take walks this winter. Problem is, I had to get a bigger size so it would be long enough, but it's a little big around her mid-section, so I might need to add some velcro to get it to fit right. It looks so cute!
Shippo is going as the little demon I named him after lmfao...
I saw those at Target and almost bought them! They look SO good on Shippo, and he even has a devilish gleam in his eyes to go with them.

Is "Shippo" short for something? How did you come up with his name?
I'm a huge anime fan, and Shippo is the name of a young fox demon in the anime "Inuyasha." Here is some more info about him:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shippo

The name definitely fits, and I even was able to get his registered name (Ravinel Fox Magick) to match his call name and match in with the original Shippo. =3
Gotcha! My kids are all big manga/anime fans, but they have not gotten into Inuyasha yet. Lots of others, though. I read FullMetal Alchemist (eagerly awaiting volume 17 any day now).

One of my girls likes INUBAKA, Crazy for Dogs. Cute!
Ohhhh, I love FMA as well! They've stopped showing Inuyasha on Adult Swim again I think.

Anyway, carry on lmao...
I love those wings. I thought about doing wings for Finn but didn't find any I liked.
I can't do anything like that, my corgi rolls over on her back too much. I had wings on her costume last year and they were ruined in the first few rolls. Too many dogs and too much loving.
