I drove by the Baytown Bark Park site the other day and it seems to be pretty slow going. One little section of the perimeter fencing is up. And that's it. It is in the same park as some baseball fields so there are bathrooms and a parking lot and playground already. I guess they need to run water lines for the doggie part before the rest of the fence goes up? Who knows, but I can't wait until it is open. It will be sooo close to my house!

I just started a discussion with Corgis in Texas about the upcoming Mighty Texas Dog Walk in Austin, if anyone is interested.

Try Ervan Chew park. It's very small, but I take my 6 month old corgi there and he plays with a one year old cardigan. He loves it! Maybe you could come some time and they all three can play.

Penny went to Independence Park again yesterday and had a rough time. She got run over by a very energetic doberman multiple times and the pugs ganged up on her (they just wanted to play). For a shy dog it was traumatizing. Maybe next time will be better.

Nevermind! I see it was independence. Next time you think to head out, give me a shout. It's close to my house :)
