Red or Black headed tri? How to tell

In two weeks my second corgi, Adalade, will be joining my family. She will be 8 weeks at the time. My question is I know I won't be able to tell if she is going to be redheaded or black headed until she grows up. But is there anyway to predict which one she will be? I am very curious!

She is really cute! Sparty looked like that as a pup and he is a black headed tri.

I believe she will be a RHT. Just by the look of the inside tips of her ears. I was always told if they have black tips on the inside of the ears they will stay as a BHT. I could be wrong, you never know. Some RHT keep some black at the top of the head. What are her parents?

Oh you are probably right, Sparty's ears are black inside. I think both red heads and black are cute as can be.

I believe she will be a RHT as well. I find that for the most part that when a corgi has black that comes over the tip of the ear like so that there is black showing in the front of the ear at the tip(like the tip of the ears were diped in black paint), with solid back back of the ear then it is most likely going to be a BHT. If the whole front ear is brown than most likely going to be RHT, or if it has little pits of brown on the back of the ear.

Here's a timeline for my pup who is a red-headed tri, he already had quite a bit of red on his face before three weeks

Four days (the one with the spot on his head)

Two and half weeks (already has red on his face)

Six weeks

Eight and a half weeks

Ten weeks/now (his right ear started coming up at about 9 and a half weeks)

So cute! She looks like a RHT to me, but I'm not really certain how you tell. Here's a puppy pic of my RHT Maddie at 11 weeks. Sorry for the image quality; it's scanned from a pic the breeder was kind enough to send me, as Madison was almost 5 years old when we got her and I have no puppy pictures of my own.
