Corgi Blog
I am a student at TCU and for one of my classes this year, we were assigned to write a blog for 10 weeks. We could write about anything we wanted to - so I wrote about my darling Emma. We DO get bonus points if people leave comments or start discussions, so please feel free to check it out and let me know what you think! Keep in mind the info is geared for someone who knows nothing about the breed or much about owning dogs (particularly a puppy), but I hope you enjoy!

How wonderful that you took on a somewhat "special needs"" dog, even though you didn't have to. So many dogs are passed over or even abandonned because they are just less than perfect. It shows so clearly how you love her, and her bum leg doesn't change that at all. That's a great message to get out.

How is Emma doing? (great name, by the way! Our middle child is named Emma!) I went back to your page and read about her limp but did not see that there was any resolution - can you let us know? Hoping that all is well. She is a darling!

To everyone! Emma is doing GREAT! Shes 21 1/2 weeksand weighs 15.6 lbs. She still never seems to be in pain - ever and I think it just makes her that much cuter :) Everyone asks, and I don't mind explaining. But when people make fun, I'm temped to set them straight - but I don't. Ha! Thanks for asking about her!

I also am so happy that you chose Emma and that you have created such a loving new life for her. All of our corgis, are deserving of this - and what is perfection? Perfection is that look of love, the loyalty for which your Emma will hold you, and the many years of companionship you will receive in kind. Yes I got a Corgi becuz my babies grew up and left the nest! I love my little corgi he is a great dog (cept for the shedding and barking which you only haveto worry about shedding). He is my little shadow and he is quite the conversation dog. i get a lot of people that ask and comment about him! Have fun, get lots of good grades at school!
