Ashton's full name is "Dansen Ashton Ein's Real Folk Blues RA, PHC, CGC".
His name is made up of his breeder's kennel name, his call name, and the last part is inspired by the super intelligent Corgi "Data Dog" in the anime Cowboy Bebop named Ein. The Real Folk Blues is the title to the end theme of the anime. The RA is his Rally Advanced Title and the last two are actually certificates for Herding and Canine Good Citizen. Next spring we hope to earn another Rally title, Herding title and some Agility ones too. :)

My little girl has a similar name. I love Cowboy Bebop. Her AKC registered name is Waldrep's Ein Stein. Waldrup is the last name of the breeder I got her from. I just call her Ein. Everyone thinks it's weird cause she's a girl, but she doesn't seem to care and neither do I.

Aber is Legacy's Owen Abergwyngregyn for Owen Glendower the Welsh hero and the most famous waterfall in Wales.
Ragnar is Legacy's Ragnar Ulfbrokr (meaning Wolf-trousers--long story, but he named for a semi-legendary viking and it's a play on that name). However, we very nearly went with I am Jack's Blue Dog as a nod to Fight Club
And Kelso will be, when we send the paperwork in Legacy's Brodie Eric Kelso (Brodie, because he was almost a Brodie, and Eric for Eric the Red, continuing the Viking theme and because even though he's a registered sable, he's basically a redhead)

Frosty already had his name when we got him. He is Tartanwyn Frost From Angels Breath. According to our breeder, Frosty was an only pup litter. When x-rayed before birth, he stretched from mommy's neck to tail. A c-section had been planned for 2 days after his birth. Unfortunately for mommy, she went into labor with Frosty during a major snow/ice storm, so they were unable to get her to a vet. Our breeder spent a terrible 20 minutes assisting his delivery and they were all relieved when he came out healthy. The breeder said that an angel must have been breathing for him during the long difficult delivery, and that's where he got his name. Tartanwyn is our breeder's kennel name.

I've had a lot of problems with my breeder, and in the contract it says that her name has to include ******'s. We call her Callie. Well, I've been considering registering her as *******'s Sucks California Girl, since the breeder will be notified when we register her.
