Hello,
We just got enzo neutered yesterday and he is doing great! Actually I think he's doing a little too great.... He is trying to run, play, go up and down the stairs and even the occasional frap session.  We try to stop him but he kind of turns it into a chase game! We have been instructed by our vet to only take him outside to go potty and no play or walking otherwise.  Normally, we usually give him lots of exercise and play lots of energetic games: chase, fetch, tug, and lazer pointer. I feel like now I'm not really sure what to do with him besides give him multiple chews and kongs filled with delicious food. I would like to know how you guys have dealt with this post op recovery period and kept your little guys or gals stimulated?

I leash them in the house and try to encourage resting. The complications after a spay or neuter are dangerous enough to have him put up with being bored for a few days.
I would keep him leashed or in an xpen if you have one. Bully sticks, bones, kongs, antlers, anything to keep him occupied and quiet is probably best for now. One of those toys you can put treats in that they roll around might keep him busy for a while.
