I've recently adopted a corgi mix named Ace - he's an Auggie (mini-aussie x corgi). One of his ears is up, the other is flopped over. He's eight months old... and is roughly 10inches tall and 15inches long.
My question to you all is : when did your corgi stop growing? When did your corgis ears become fully perked?
I just would like to know so I have an idea about whether or not his ear is ever going to fully perk, and whether or not he's going to grow taller!
:) Thank you!

His dad was fourteen inches, and his mom 11". So the woman I am adopting has told me he is totally done growing - does anyone think that may be the case?
Also: he is currently ten inches and 11 pounds.
I just spoke to a vet clinician about when Ace would stop growing - they told me he should be fully grown by now, he'd just put on some weight?
Well, make that two clinicians. I'm just so confused, haha! Thank you though. :)
What kind of food do you feed your corgi? I was going to go with Beneful, or something of that nature for his short stature (and since he's still a puppy). My apartment just has a really strict height and weight limit, and he seems to fit the bill nicely.
I'll be putting up more pictures of him as soon as I pick him up after his neutering!
He really doesn't need to be on a puppy food at 8 months old. I personally would skip the Beneful because the first ingredient is corn instead of a meat.
This sounds like Ace! He has one ear that flops all the time, but perks when he is excited!
I've heard so many good things about Auggies, so this makes me glad to see at least Ace won't grow too tall. The clinicians and the woman told me he is done growing and therefore not going to break my apartment's rules.
What a cute puppy! I would not go with Beneful. It really isn't a very good dog food. I feed Grover, my corgi, Wellness. You can get it at Petco or Petsmart. It's more expensive, but not the MOST expensive and it is corn free. Grover gobbles it up!
Good luck with the puppy!!!
