Had Frosty for over a year now.  We always kept him crated when we were gone for the first 4-5 months.  He HATED being in the crate.  I mean HATED it!!  Finally, as he learned the rules, we started leaving him out by himself for longer and longer periods of time.  Never had any problems for months and months (except for only one shoe eating incident).

Now all of a sudden, he has started destroying property.  For the last month or so, he always chooses one item to destroy while we are at work.  Thankfully it is usually something of my husbands lol.  It does not help that he is aided by my trouble making instigator of a cat who keeps knocking down to him the items that I pick up.  To date, Frosty has destroyed a camera, a set of gaming headphones, multiple Pledge fur rollers (he really loves those for some reason) and numerous other items.  Yesterday, it was a box of crayons, another fur roller, and seriously, he tore open a box of empty pop cans and shredded every can!  I can't believe he didn't tear up his face doing that!!

I'm sure the cause of this naughtiness is the fact that its winter and really cold out and we are not getting outside as much as we usually do, but GRRR ya know!  So we've decided its time for Frosty to go back in the crate until it is nice and we can start putting him back outside.  Poor guy, I know he just has spring fever and wants to get out.  We are actively trying to spend more time walking/playing/running outside.  Anybody else's corgi get all naughty with spring fever by the end of winter?

Bummer....I'm sure the cat put him up to this haha! It sure has been a long winter and some of mine have had to also be crated for longer periods of time. Just last week we were getting out for longer walks and having fun now the fences are full of snow again:( Mine sit by the door and want to go out 24/7 as for the destruction...they aren't too bad but Livvy sits at the door when she is out waiting to play ball and all it does is sink and get lost in the deep snow again.
i think your right its the  lack of exercise and hes very bored...
I can not imagine what it would be like if Quin couldn't get her walk for weeks on end. I am sorry for your snow. We don't have winter like that really, I complain if it is too windy or if it is raining (sorry) But my cat is more than a partner in crime he is the ring leader ;( And he has decided to make my watercolor brushes his target. So now I have to keep them in a drawer if I am not in the room!!! Pain in the butt!! Then of course once they are on the ground Quin is glad to help. I lost about 5 expensive brushes:( My husband has made me a drawer that is attached to my art table so it is easy to put them in and keep them safe:) :)
Is he a teenager?  Get him those big beef bones, they keep a dog busy.
Yes, he is a teenager lol.  I always make sure to leave him 2 suppose-to-take-a-long-time-to-eat kind of treats.  I even make sure to rotate what kind every day so that they are new.  We have like 20 different kinds!  He always make sure to eat those before destroying our stuff lol.  Unless it is a kind he doesn't like, then he buries it in the couch cushions and covers it with a pillow.
