A yr ago when i got my carly, i thought that alone was a miracle with my husband . Dogs in the house under feet..were not his thing,  well his heart has changed and were adding # 2 . next week!!

The problems we had with other dogs were all minor but we knew nothing about the crate and its ability to help house train these little fur babies. Im so excited but nervous about what our female will do, she is a strong willed bossy type and hopefully will appreciate having a brother..hahaha

Like it or not he's almost the plane, and will be entering our lives next Sunday.

Its time to brush up on my training skills and get ready to lose some sleep, if little guy needs to go potty in the middle of the night. Carly was easy to house train but every other  issue has been a struggle she was a mouthy little one and still has to be told repeatedly no teeth.  The obedience has gotten better but still a work in progress, i know having two will complicate it somewhat. The walking on leash has improved as well.. as i said she is a bossy strong willed female and i had to learn that i have to be bossier and stronger willed . haha

i appreciate of of you who have helped me in this learning progress..

Woo Hoo!! You can never have too many!!!
Ahhhh ur gettin him from Wendy!! Her puppys look so healthy and well developed. Ur sooooo lucky to be getting another Corgi. It took me six yrs to persuade my hubby to let me have a dog and i love him to death an even tho he wont admit it , i know he kinda likes him bein around!! I have tried n tried askin for a little sister for Wilf but it falls on deaf ears : (
i know what you mean.. and im so surprised that Greg is on board with this  two corgi thing, in  fact i cant wait to see the dynamics when it all takes place.. we cant stop believing in these men  :)))
Frankie was a trooper for his ride to the vets all by himself and in the vets office he didn't miss a beat. Even got me and my vet to crack up laughing at him. HAHA He passed with flying colors!! He got a new collar and leash with a crate to go home in. Won't be long now Priscilla....this is when the days start to drag on..and on...and on..and on.

Im so proud of that boy,  i feel like a new mama..lol   This time Sunday ill be laughing at him.. and giving him kisses!

You know he weighs twice what Carly did at 8 weeks..i saw his weight on the conformation e-mail.

Wendy your awesome!!

Congrats!!! You will love it- they are so much fun together...Looking forward to seeing pics!!
Yay! I can celebrate with you! We just got our #2 a few weeks ago! :)
My spouse and daughter begged to have one for a year before I gave my spouse one for his birthday (Corky).  My heart melted and Corky is no longer with us but remembered with love.  We have 4 now.
YAYYYY <3333333333333

GO CORGI LUV! :)

Up date...well well well...its been a few weeks and Frankie has settled in very nicely.. I am madly in love with him and his blue eye and so are the rest of my friends and family that have met him!!We hope hes a happy with us as we are him. He is by far much easier to deal with on every level than Carly was , i mean it. Not much mouthing at all, very easy to brush, bath, clip nails, handle, house train, and he walks so slowly on the leash i have to coax him to come hahah she at this age  was already barking and wanting to chase cars , hes not remotely interested!! That alone is enough for me Praise God!. Poor Carly she couldn't help it , shes a true working dog, should have been on a ranch. haha!!

I do see a lot of improvement in her even since hes been here, I told her since i couldn't buy her a cow she needed a friend. What a great decision to get a second pup and to choose wendt worth corgis!!!!  They play and wrestle and run so much she hardly has time to get in trouble any more.. Best decision ive made in yrs!

Just thought id share how my Yankee, (Frankie) doodle dandy is working out down here in south Corpus Christi TX.

He is very healthy and growing like a weed... making all our lives more exciting..
Yay! I remember when Baxter wanted to chase cars too. Good to hear they are getting along so well!

I am so jealous!!  You will have so much fun with two pups in the house!  I can't wait to see pictures and hear about the experience.  Good luck!
