Just taking a survey. I know you have should not bathe a corgi too often or their skin can dry out, but spring time is so dirty!! How much is too much and how much is not enough? Thanks in advance for any input!

I try to bathe Abby no more than once a month. I'm one of those that love my Corgi, but can do without that "doggie smell", thank you very much! Once a month-6 weeks seems to work out well, though.
The breeder described Corgi's as "wash and wear"---and I really think that about says it all! :)
the  vet  told  me  once  a  month  the  sheeding get  a  littel  carzy  sometimes  so  I  went  out my  oreo  a  zoom  groom  and  a pet  brush  that has  fine brissell and I brush he twice a week  and it  seems  to  do  the  tick  hope this  helps

Mine get bathed every two or three months or so, maybe a little less in winter and more in summer if they've been swimming and smell of pond scum.

In the summer I find a quick hose-off with plain water helps both cool them down and get rid of any dirt they picked up if they've been wading in the creek.  I'm in the "less is better" camp.  My dogs' coats feel SO soft and silky right after a bath, and while that's appealing to me I think it's probably not the healthiest thing for them; it probably means their fur has been stripped of its normal oils.

Every 3-6 months, whether they need it or not.
Sometimes shower the sand/mud out without shampoo after a typical wet Washington Cascades hike.
A fine-mesh shower drain screen is a MUST.
Once every 4-6 wks or when she start to smell like a stinky dog :)
teddy gets a bath about once a month. i love the way his fur feels and smells after a bathe and he loves getting bathes(i know its strange) lol i also do it because once the K9 advantix wears off i want to make sure that he has no fleas or others pests still trying to hang on. we go out on walks almost everyday so im sure there is dirt on him as well.
Once a month.
I bathe Waffle whenever he needs it-- if he gets poop (his own, a cats, or a goose's) all over him or if he gets excessively muddy.  I've only bathed him for special occassions otherwise.  For example, he would get a bath this weekend for Easter if I were going home.  He doesn't smell, plus I'm trying a natural flea product that smells like citronella that I rub all over his fur.  So, he's pretty bath free.  Dirt falls out of his coat, especially if I walk him around outside.

My 3 guys are outside every single day and usually I hose them off if they get really muddy. Each will stand in turn beside the hose, waiting for that rinse off!

A real bath? Well, maybe once a month or before house guests arrive! They've never needed their nails trimmed because they wear them down so I don't use a groomer very often. that gets pricey with 3 dogs.

However, I want to thank John W again for suggesting the Lanatone shed relief.  My boys' coats are fabulous and the shedding has changed considerably. Not gone away, you understand, but lessened.

Quin is a fluff and I bath her once every two weeks because we walk every day and I live on dirt roads so she is dusty and dirty. Some times she just gets a hinny bath :) in between the two week period. she does not have dry skin and I live where the average humidity is at about 12% I use my shampoo and conditioner on her. I have heard show people say this is what they use and they sometime wash their dogs more than 2 times a week.
Uh oh... I think I've given my Yoda too many baths. I bathed him twice a week and his skin didn't look dry out at all. I can't stand the stinky doggie smell especially after he ran around in the back yard. Is this okay? or should I reduced to once a week?
Some show people bathe at least once a week.   Make sure you use a very mild shampoo and dilute it heavily in water BEFORE you rub it in the coat.  Rinse much longer than you think you should need to rinse.  You might also try rinsing in plain water and see if that helps.  I find that if I towel mine off when they come in, it greatly reduces any water-induced odor problems.
