Miracle! Big thank you!

Dear dearest Corgi lovers and families,

Despite being diagnosed with lymphoma a month ago,
Abalone just got positive news today of reduced and missing lymph nodes behind the legs and around her neck.

I know it's too early to kick up a big fuss about it but I just really wanted to express my gratitude for your prayers and well wishes and advice.

May she continue to rock on healthily with the rest of the beautiful corgis around the world!

Ps. We refused chemo or steroids and have been feeding her expensive Chinese medicine and lots of playtime :)

My deepest gratitude to Sam,Linda, Beth, Natalie, Terry and Maya, Anne, and many more!

Good news! We had a neighbor whose dog had mammary tumors that metasticized to her brain. She DID get traditional medicine, but the vet only gave her a couple months. They went to a holistic vet who gave them a home-made diet, avoiding certain pro-inflammatory foods and giving others (she made big pots of stew for the dog). She lived a full year after her diagnosis.

Now that is good news to read on such a dreary day! Any improvement is a reason to celebrate. Who knows what will or won't work for any given dog...or person. Max gets a Chinese herbal mixture twice a day with his meals for his neck. It was prescribed by the vet who does his acupuncture and I truly believe it works. When he can go 16 months between treatments something has to be helping him along.

Prayers for continued improvement for Abalone.
