I recently had to say goodbye to our "son" Monty! after 12 and a half years. Looking for a breeder in the northeast (we are in ny) for a red/white male pup...

Any advise?

I'm so sorry for your loss.

You can try the PWCCA, listed by Sarah already, as well as the Mayflower Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club.  I was in contact with a few of the breeders on the Mayflower site while searching for my own pup and they were quite helpful!  One breeder in Smithtown has a new litter of red/white puppies listed, having been born just this month.  :)  Good luck in your search!

OMG, Monty is gone  :((.  Sorry for the loss, he will be missed by lots of his admirers, including, Timmy and I.  If your heart is set on a Pembroke, then Mayflower is the way to go.  There are excellent breeders in your neck of the woods.  For Cardigans (there are red and whites also) I would check with Joanna Kimball (Black Sheep Cardigans), I think she's a member of MyCorgi too.  She could probably give you excellent advice and referrals.

THank you. Our hearts are broken and our home is not the same. It was all so sudden. He was fine till 2 weeks before we lost him. After a weeks worth of tests and a million bucks, we found out his liver and kidneys were filled with tumors. He must have hid his pain for so long. Monty will forever be my son.....

I know he can never be replaced, but my house is too quiete and sad without that sweet face  :-(

We are glad you got to see some videos of his amazing career!

Deepest sympathy on the passing of Monty. We found so much inspiration watching his agility videos. <3

Best of luck in finding your next agility superstar!

So sorry you lost Monty!

Are you looking for another agility dog?  I'm not sure how far you are willing to go for a pup.  I can get you the e-mail address of a very good breeder in PA.  Google maps says it would be about 3 or 3.5 hours for you.   She mostly breeds conformation but has had some nice agility dogs too, including one that she bred that got his MACH.   I have no idea what she is charging now, but probably around $1200.  Don't quote me!   I got both of mine from her, one as an adult and one as a pup.   I do agility with Jack (he's good, me--- not so much!).   And at least 2 of Maddie's puppies do agility.  So definitely some potential in her lines.

If you are interested send me a friend request and I'll get you her e-mail address.

So sorry for your loss!
I don't know any breeders in that area but I'm so sorry about your loss of Monty.

There's a pretty red cardi boy in New Mexico looking for a performance home. I'm sure she would ship for the right home.

Joanna from Blacksheep cardigans recently had two litters and still has a few pups left I believe, but they are all black/white.

Otherwise I'd definitely check out the pwcca site and the mayflower club for pems.

So sorry for you, your family and Monty.  We know all about losing a little guy to tumors in our house too.  Our thoughts are with you.

I wish I could recommend a breeder to you, as I also live in NY, although you are pretty far away from Buffalo.  We have done rescues, so I don't really have experience with breeders around here.  I hope you find your special little guy, happy and healthy.
I am so very, very saddened to learn of the passing of Monty.  Your beautiful agility artform was wonderful to watch.  The love between you and Team Monty lifted our hearts.  Please accept this sincere condolence from one who shall always remember Monty as the pinnacle of "corgi connection".  Your friend, Nancy
Chris and Ilyse:  This is a separate note to you.  The Mayflower Corgi Club is an excellent place to begin your search.  I am blessed to have a corgi from an active member of this corgi organization.  I know that you will provide a most wonderful family for another corgi.  Nancy
