The pic below is of Chester (down on right) doing his tricks for a delicious treat. Thanks to whoever brought the homemade ones...he loved them!
We enjoyed the picnic last Sat! It was our first one and Chester's first time at a dog park. He did really well. :) He may have been the oldest there at 11 years....at least all the owners we spoke to had much younger Corgis.
It's possible. It wouldn't be the first time that somebody has found a relative at the picnic! This year 2 families found out their dogs were uncle/nephews. But in previous years people have found half siblings and litter-mates as well!!
We really had a nice time at the picnic! It was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive from the Chicago suburbs :-) I'm still amazed that there were that many dogs together and no real fights. I still laugh thinking about every time I went out to my car and came back to 15 or so smiling corgi faces greeting me at the gate :) THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A CORGI SMILE TO MAKE YOUR DAY!
Mailed off the donations today. I sent them Priority Mail so there was tracking included. If you would like to track the progress of the donations you can click on the link and copy and paste the tracking numbers into the box, then select "Find"

Just sorry I hadn't thought of it sooner, but that way you can save money on rental. As long as something else isn't going on (and very rare to need tables on a Saturday). We'd also have metal chairs that could be borrowed.
That would be awesome!!! I have a truck and trailer now that I pull to the picnic to haul everything and I live about 20 min from Janesville. That would really help out a LOT!!!
