Oh no, it's repairable! Believe me, my husband is a cabinet maker and you would not believe the damage he's repaired! All over Peanut and Tulip's protests of "But we WANTED it that way!"

it's a frame-up

This irreparable door scratching was blamed on Mochi, an Aussie cattle dog with bad separation anxiety, whom we were dogsitting. He was left alone for only 30 min, just days after Mochi's owner and my other bro-in-law salvaged this lovely hardwood front door for us and helped me hang it (hanging a door is a tricky job, too, if you don't know what you're doing).
Later, I got to thinking: this was when we had Siri, our first corgi, and maybe she thought Mochi was here to stay, felt sibling rivalry, and framed the interloper in hopes of getting rid of him?
We all know corgis are capable of such ruthless deviousness.

Good job AddyBell! She really does do very good work. Ya gotta hand it to these kids, they do a good job at destruction - maybe we could hire them out to one of those TV shows where they need to totally destroy the room, or whatever before they make it over?!?

Yeah, she's totally saying "see Mom and Dad how much better it is now? Didn't I do a good job?" LOL

This is my couch. More specifically, this is how my couch looks after Addy-Bell has decided to dig off one of the cusions, rip open the zipper (which is a pain to fix back), and pull out some of the foam innards.

Here we see the culprit has returned to the scene of the crime, smiling unrepentantly, obviously proud of her hard work. At least she's cute!

They look so innocent in the last picture - 2 corgis, sleeping off their various crimes! Can"t imagine having just one, but they sure do play off of eaco other and teach each other their own personal best bad behaviors...I always wondered what all those hedgehog guts looked like! we left Odie and Lucky with friends who had 2 corgis for a week - gave each corgi a new hedgehog, i guess the house was a mess of guts! Alas, no picture was taken.

Patience and a sense of humor are necessary for corgi ownership! Lol

Our home office paper shredder stopped working... fortunately it's been replaced with the new CorgiShred Model 1.

My wife's baby brother, Alex, has been staying with us for the past month. I came home from work the other day and found him sucking on a sucker and playing my PS2. Not unusual. But as I went back out into the other room, I discovered Addy-Bell in this position:

Yes, that is a sucker stick sticking out of her mouth! I couldn't resist the photo opportunity, and then I felt compelled to pose her next to Alex, who was still sucking on his sucker, and snap another one before I finally confiscated it.
