At least they didn't do that to gifts that were still wrapped!

It was my dad's birthday today and this is what happened after the presents were unwrapped. The aussie is Finn, my brother's dog

Notice the blue paw? Blue pen ink all over the light tan carpet!

Ha! I tried it and it actually worked. Addy got away from me tonight as we were going to the car - in the beginnings of a thunderstorm! She started to play keep away and I just went to the car, got in, and called her. She had to think about it for a minute, but she ran right to me. I think the thunder helped my cause, though!

Ah, the keep away game. I learned the secret to that one. Stop, turn around and walk away from them. If you chase them they run away, thinking it's a game. But if you walk/run away they chase YOU. Works every time my little sneaky devils get out.

I'm definatly bookmarking that one. Addy's amazing capacity to shed mocks the weak and frail lint-roller and sends it away with its tail between its legs.

In other news - I have to take the blame for my Corgi's morning mischief today. I haven't been feeling well, and was trying to get out the door - and forgot to put her leash on! So out she went, and did her usual "I'm off my leash and you can't catch me!" dance. The little toad led me several times around the house, playing keep away, until she finally went back to the field to do her buisiness - and I caught her in mid-squat! I didn't scold her though - it was my fault for not paying attention to what I was doing.

Oh yes the hair roller we all need but hey all you corgi hair sufferers i found a wonderful new hair remover that works better than anything i have used and its cheap!! Its called a fur zoff, go to www.fur zoff.net. It is actually a piece of recyled beer bottle glass, it looks like lava. But it works SOOO GOOD on furniture and car seats, you just comb over the fabric and it pulls the hair out. Sometimes the corgi hair is like needles embedded in the furniture and this pulls it out better than a little pet vacuum I have. He said he sells a lot to car detailers. I found it at a pet expo. Its only $10.!!! Check it out I even carry it in my purse!! Corgi hair makes me crazy!

She decided to go on the coffee table. I snapped a picture before I made her get off.
