Comment by pegi & austin bottom(muffinbutt) on March 3, 2009 at 12:09pm: corky and his cohort are quite the team! austin hasn't found me any money nor has he redesigned any decorator touches or tee-pee'd the house, but he does help w/ the housework-he climbs on the open dishwasher door (no mean feat-he's pretty fat now) and gets as far back as he can and licks all the dirty dishes and silverware while i'm trying to load it. when i shoo him (yeah, try to shoo a doorstop) he looks up at me and says he's doing his part to conserve water and soap, what's my problem?

Comment by Nicole on March 3, 2009 at 10:25am: We have a 8 inch diameter hole in the master bedroom carpet. I had seen Pen a few hours earlier with fluff on her face, but had not yet seen the hole so it didn't add up at the time. It is old carpet that we are replacing soon - she thought she was doing us a favor...

Comment by Lisa B on March 3, 2009 at 9:16am: So dont let the innocent looking bichapoo in the back fool you, in that adorable face rests a mind that never stops dreaming up adventures to take Corky on. They are like Of mice and men and poor Corky is the rather slow heavier one that follows along and adores his older cohort! There latest adventure: We drove out to the stables where we keep our horses and the lounge was cold so we left them in the van with it running cuz its frezzin here this winter. we were inside only a few minutes and another gal from the barn came in and asked if we have the mini van outside, I said yes she said well the windows are open and your blinkers are on. So I went out to investigate and sure enough windows open blinkers on opened the door, no dogs! We called and called and they came flyin around the barn playing and wrestling the whole way very pleased with themselves and their ingenuity! One or both must have hit the power windows and used the blinker switch as a leverage to leap out. That had to be a long drop for sausage biscuits aka Corky! So we are afraid now that next time they might drive off and take a few of there other doggy friends with! Were not taking any chances!

Comment by Julia on March 2, 2009 at 10:02am: Oh wow where to start! Scratching holes at the walls! They're potty training and they still go in the house! If you pull carrots out they will follow you everywhere, you shut the door and they scratch it to get in. You HAVE to give them one, and they vomit! Chewing TOO MANY important things like shoes, they chew so much I can't remember the rest! ESPACIALLY if you have cheese, they will jump on you and make you fall down! 2 are year old and the other is 8! They love cheese! They bark at door bells and knocks coming from the TV! They play too much, so much running!

Comment by Susan on March 1, 2009 at 7:35pm: Oh, where to start! A hole in the wall, holes in the wall-to-wall carpet, chomped on draperies, way too many toys to remember...! But our favorite story: we were eating dinner in the family room. That night we had an Italian dish, so I had a new, LARGE wedge of Parmesan which I left in the ziplock bag on the counter. While we were eating, we kept hearing, thud, thud, thud. We knew Annie was jumping for something but didn't investigate. Until the thuds stopped...followed by the fast little footsteps running across the kitchen floor...and then...nothin'. We knew something was up! Ran upstairs...looked in the den...and there she was with the entire wedge of cheese in her mouth...she thought it was a dream come true! Alas, it was not meant to be...she barely had a bite before it was cruelly taken away! That'll teach me not to leave the edge of the ziplock close enough to the edge...Corgis are very determined! Grin.
