2 toys! I see a theme here - Penny always has to have 2 toys with her - usually one under the paws while she chews on the other.

That would freak me out to turn a corner and see something mysterious on the floor like that lol She really must have wanted that leaf!

That's too funny, Fidencia! Those leaves (it seems so funny yo call such huge things leaves, doesn't it?) fall into our backyard all the time. I drag them to the side and I'm surprised how HEAVY they are! Your little corgi is very strong to bring it all the way into your house. What determination!

Hi! Here is Juno in her "decorating" mode! She just decide to get a Palm Tree Leaf , from the patio and set it in the middle of the house. Of course...what is a 5feet long palm tree leaf if not an excellent shredding practice tool>??
Than God i heard her! can you imagine go walking around the house and find that thing? ...She is my hunny!

Izzy is the one who is most likely to get into trouble! We had a board across the laundry room for 7 years and it kept the corgis out of the cat's food and litter. Even when the doberman was over she never went over it and it only came to her knees! The first week we had Iz, she jumped it. I put a bigger board, she jumped it. I put a gate up, she pushed it over. Now I have a fence that is braced to keep her out. It never occurred to Sparty to jump it !
For toys, the kong series. Air Kong, are great. They squeak and even the most persistent chewer has trouble tearing them apart.

Nylabones can stand up to the powerful chewer! Annie used to love them; alas, she also chipped a tooth on one so be sure to keep an eye on your Corgi! That, tennis balls and braided rope toys have worked out here. (Although have to keep an eye on the braided rope toys, too...after she's pulled out too many loose strings, we replace it, but they do last for several weeks.) Everything else has a useful life of half-an-hour as Lisa B. said! ESPECIALLY the squeaker toys...although she loves them. Squeakers must taste really good. :-)

yeah, stuffed toys, not an option, she takes the squeaker and then the stuffing. I did get her a 10 ball, and she can't seem to get her mouth around it.. yet. The kitchen table is still standing (she has not yet chewed thru the legs yet, but is still working on them). I wanted a new kitchen table anyway :-)

Stuffed toys? Corky disembowels every stuffed toy within a half hour, i tried skinnies, but he removes the squeaker and then they are really boring to him. he loves balls but turns them into tiny pieces after your done throwing them, anybody found any toys that can withstand corgi jaws?
