Hello from South Dakota! Copper Penny Fortin is registered with ACA and AKC he will be 6 months old on the 29th of November. We have 2 12 year old Black Labs so he thinks he is one of them and so far has not picked up on the "herding" he wants to play fetch with the ball. He lays across the front paws of one the girls and then she lays her head on him like a pillow! Too cute.

Hi - I'm considering bringing Leo to Ames to be seen at the University for his rear leg/hind end lameness problem and was wondering if any of you have taken your corgi there and what your experience was with the hospital. It may be something as "simple" as a CCL tear/rupture or may hip displaysia but he's very young for that or it could be a neurological problem (yikes!). I would assume they'll be doing x-rays and an MRI at the very least. Also, if we do come down there and need to stay over night, does anyone know of a pet friendly hotel near the university? Thanks for any suggestions and help you can offer. Shelby
