Spoiled Rotten Corgis

For all the corgis out there who are doted on by your families, get your own way, and are basically spoiled beyond belief. I would love to hear your stories.

Leo scarfing down his huge birthday bone. The butcher gave it to him for his birthday - no charge. Even the butcher is unable to resist CMC.

It's nice to see so many new members in this group. People are getting over their embarrassment for having a spoiled rotten Corgi(s). Denial is never pretty. Corgi mind control is impossible to resist, there is no shame in admitting it.

His lounge position says it all really. He came into the world destined to live the life of a "kept man". Maybe the fact that his mom was very ready for him to leave home and we had to wait to pick him up until we could make the 3 hour drive...so he spent a few days being babysat by the cats who shared his room and he sometimes behaves like one. Does his own nails, will appear on your lap without warning and if your attention is too invasive , he up and leaves. A bit of a prissy pants sometimes , and will bring a mouth full of food out and spit it out before eating while picking out the bits he likes first. I suppose I wouldnt have him any other way. After taking away his Special Purpose, however, he seems happier to play ball and have fun.

Great stories everyone. :) My Reaghan definitely falls into the spoiled category. She has to have about 50 different toys, and just 15 new ones from my mom the other day. She also sleeps on my bed with me. And of course she has 3 toys that she has to sleep with. And now that she's had her final puppy shots, she goes EVERYwhere with me.

When I clean the livingroon I take all the chew bones and put them in Tenby's bed. One by one they all come out...once again in a little pile right in the middle of the room. He actually looks at us and says.......leave them alone they go here!!!!!

Spoiled...let me count the ways. Tonight I found myself again doing Twinkie's bidding. She likes to take the rocks out of the fountain that sits on our deck and make them into piles. Tonight I cleaned the fountain and EACH rock with a scrubbing sponge so she wouldn't be exposed to the mold that had built up. Yes, I've turned into that crazy corgi lady.

Oh my gosh Gemina--the bill is paid for--just hope that it does not happen again--I TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF THIS FELLOW. His neurosurgeon insists that he stay very thin (their backs need to curve in)--so I have been most careful about his diet (very little food twice a day) and some snacks. Also give him liquid omega 3 oil--want to keep him around--such a good pal. Corgis CANNOT be weighty.

Kathy, bless your little heart for taking such good care of your Corgis!! If I had any money I'd send some to you, but Edwards puppy shots etc seem to be draining my bank account!!!
Roger, If we don't include the dogs in EVERYTHING that we do at the lake they get upset! They have been tubing, jet skiing and boating and pontooning all without lifting their little paws!!!

Here is how spoiled miss Miso is: So, this morning, I gave her a booda bone treat to chew on for a little while. She LOVES these things. Well, breakfast time came around, so I took her treatie away so she would eat her food. Instead of eating, she slinks to the back of her kennel, and starts sulking and giving me sad looks. Doesn't touch her yummy, expensive food that I know she loves to death, because I took her treat away. Yes, I have a puppy that POUTS.
