Spoiled Rotten Corgis

For all the corgis out there who are doted on by your families, get your own way, and are basically spoiled beyond belief. I would love to hear your stories.

Sparty hates to be groomed! Just wiping him off causes squealing and snarling like he is being attacked! Combing makes him even worse! Clipping his toenails is a nightmare reserved for the vet. However, when I get out the brushes to do Izzy he comes right over to wait his turn. I guess he is spoiled in that we have tolerated his terrible behavior for years! I know all the ways to avoid these behaviors but apparently Sparty did not read the same books! Oh well, I just make sure I am the only one that grooms him because even though he is awful he seems able to control his desire to bite wth me and just bitches! Fortunately, he does not have a thick beautiful coat like Izzy!

While I was online today I thought I'd ask if all of these spoiled corgis liked to be groomed as much as Twinkie? Yesterday I brought the brush out and sat on the floor. In a moment, Twinks was laying there to be pampered. I wondered how much she would take. I finally gave up after at least 40 minutes of brushing. She loves it!

You all must first understand the corgi rules in order to properly be raised by a corgi! After 9 years, Whisper thinks I have them down pretty good!

Yeah those faces are hard to resist...also the Corgi mind control. Humans have no defense against it.

I've only had Wrigley for 3 weeks and he is already spoiled rotten. He has to sleep next to me at night or he barks, he loves attention and petting and refuses to go inside if his walk isn't long enough. I can't say no to that face.

this is the face of a spoiled rotten brat that just has to sleep with us all the time or kick us out of our own bed. But we love her and give her whatever she wants. How could u say no to that face.

She hasn't asked for crystal yet? Give her time :o)

How's this for spoiled: Miso, being a strangely picky eater, will not eat her food if it's in the food bowl. It either has to be on the floor, or on a plate (usually on a plate)! She's training me, slowly but surely...

I'm sure Miso will be groomed to a T! I told my mom that I thought is was Twinkie's long lineage of showdogs that makes her so good when we groom her. Then I remembered we have been grooming her more than any other dog I've ever had. Its like spa time for her. Spoiled? YES!

Also, I think I'm going to take Miso to the pet wash at our Feeder's Supply! There, she'll get a spa-quality bath, complete with a rub down with a cute little massager, and then a full fur blow dry. She will be the fluffiest, best smelling puppy in all of Louisville! She's already got the cutest part down pat.
