Busy again!

Posted on October 21, 2009 at 10:28pm 2 Comments

Oh wow, have I been busy. I haven't really been to my corgi in well over a year. I got married in Sept 2008, and my dad was in a terrible motorcycle accident (he's ok now), and then we bought a house! Needless to say, my priorities changed! I will try to visit more often from now on!

San Marcos Texas Mutt Strutt 2008

I have been so busy lately that I haven't been on MyCorgi in a while! I am sorry for adding all these videos at once, but I finally had time to sit down and get it all done!

A couple of weeks ago I took my camera to the dog park with us and finally got video of Gonzo playing with the other dogs. We got lucky and there was one other purebred Pembroke there - the only one we have seen! They didn't seem very interested in each other but were chasing the other dogs around. Gonzo actually… Continue

My other dog, Toby :o(

Posted on March 20, 2008 at 10:27pm 4 Comments

I posted last month when the cat that I had left behind when I moved was euthanized.

I had also left behind a dog, Toby, 14 years old. He was a Sheltie/Collie mix. Such a sweetheart!

My parents went to Belize for my aunt's wedding, and while they were gone Toby was apparently not eating at all. He usually didn't eat as much when my parents were gone, but this time he hardly ate anything for the week. When my parents got back home he still wasn't eating, and then he lost the use of his… Continue

Gonzo's review of Nature's Recipe

Posted on February 17, 2008 at 6:19pm 1 Comment

Hi everyone, I thought I'd let you know how I like the Nature's Recipe dog food I've been eating. It's a pretty good flavor, I usually eat my two meals a day and don't usually skip any meals. My coat has been very soft and shiny since eating this food. Everyone is always giving me compliments.

I must have eaten something bad a couple of days ago, because I threw up Friday night and have been having very bad diarrhea ever since. My mom is preparing a special diet for me now. She is working… Continue

My cat :o(

Posted on February 4, 2008 at 11:41pm 4 Comments

So in addition to Gonzo, I have a cat named Shadow. Okay, so she lives with my parents 3,000 miles away, but if she wasn't so old I would have taken her with me when I moved. She is still my cat, my parents were just taking care of her.

She is 20 years old and has been on medication for a hyperactive thyroid for a couple of years. Other than that, the vet says she is quite healthy and all the other blood work that comes back looks like it belongs to a 10 year old cat.

But she…

Thanks, I love her sooo much! On the back of her head, just above her collar, there's like a white hook (kind of). She has brown armpits, too.

Texans! Yes! There are a lot of Texans on this site. I love your corgi. His marking a really cute, especially where the top of his face is just a little bit darker than the other parts.

Hi Nicole!
Thank you for your comment about tail docking (my Sidney has his tail). You are very well spoken. And your Gonzo is gorgeous! I love the pic where it looks like he's laughing!
