Socks, Bark Off and Animals Make Us Human by Temple Grandin
We made our first Emergency Vet Visit this week. My neighbor came over to relax and chat and slipped off her shoes and socks. Bear has always loved socks, but usually he just wants to play tug of war with them. He grabbed hers and as I went to him to tell him "Drop It" which we learned forever ago and works, he looked me square in the eye and swallowed it. It was one of those thin footie sock things.
