Well, it's been two weeks since we've picked up Zorro and I still am so excited to come home and see him! He's such a wonderful little puppy and I think we're making really good headway in him becoming settled and apart of our little family.
Progress:
I don't think he has nipped once today
Hasn't had an accident in the house today
No longer cries when you put him in his crate
Hasn't damage any of our possessions by chewing them
Rides great in the…

I asked John to get Kahlan a couple of pig ears and she loves them but I read (on these forums I think I can't recall off hand though) that they can make dogs sick and vomit. Also someone mentioned deer antlers as chews. I looked around and read up a lil on them. If what I read is true about lasting around 6 months and not splintering like bones and being low fat then it is worth the higher initial cost and having to buy them online.
What have you all heard about antler chews…

Some days Wrigleys nose and ears are very pink and others the color is not so evident. He is 11 months old and very healthy and energetic.Just wondering why this would change; hydration, time of day, weather....??? Also I will be trying to clean out his ears with a cotton ball, should I use a dry cotton ball or add something like water or alcohol to better clean the area? Thanks for your opinions!

Both of Søren's ears are up! It only took until he was 16 weeks old! His left ear has been up for a month, but his right ear - which I swear is bigger - had stayed completely floppy until the past few days. And, today it's up. I'm so glad I didn't have to tape it, because I knew he would hate it.

Lucy is doing great! She's adjusting well to her new life with an active "on the go" family. She plays well with our two sons, but tends to get too excited and forgets she isn't supposed to nibble on younger son's ears. That is getting better. We are learning how to read her too and that when she's getting tired, it is easy to overexcite her. She likes clicker training and we use her breakfast for rewards. She has sit, down, touch, and horsey (a rearing up pose we caught by happy accident…

Does anyone want to make a guess as to when George's ears will stand up? He was born on February 3, 2008, and his ears are still floppy. They are to the stage where they look like bat wings, but they are still down. I got Rosie at ten weeks and she had one ear up and one ear down. By the time she was fourteen weeks old both of her ears were up. He looks really cute with them kind of at half staff. I should have some pictures to share soon.

Bailey's ears are finally up! =P I was only able to get three pictures of his one ear up/one ear down (this stage only lasted two days for us) , but of course in the mist of uploading pictures, i accidently deleted one of them, so i have TWO! All in all, it happened quite fast. =P He looks like quite the fox with this ears up. His toepads are also…
