Hope everybody is having a very Merry Christmas! Jeter and Cappy love Christmas. They ate the doggy biscuits I baked for them, several little pieces of Christmas ham, and other Christmas treats. They were so excited to get new toys. We went to see the Christmas lights at night. And today is Jeter's birthday, too. He is now 4 years old! Happy birthday, my little buddy!!

My Jeter and Cappy became Christmas corgis today. Cappy wore the Santa outfit and Jeter wore the ‘Christmas tree decorated with boned’ sweater and the antlers.
"Merry Christmas!! Please bring us more treats, Santa!!"

Today I got a package. That is from Elko Nevada. In the box, there are yummy looking doggie cookies from “Let Them Eat Cake…Bakery”. It is one of the winning prize from “the daily corgi Halloween costume contest” – Jeter and Cappy were the Honorable Mention winners-. My corgis knew that box was for them and got so excited.

This is not a corgi story but it has a little bit of corgi part :-)
This morning I took my corgis out. Usually my husband walks the dogs in the morning but today is his birthday so I gave him some more time to sleep. And I met Alice the pug.
I saw her on the way to throw out the poop bag. She sat on the grass near our neighbor’s house. She was off leash and there was no sign of the owner. Jeter and Cappy were curious about her but I wasn’t sure what to do.… Continue

My lovable 2 corgis, Jeter and Cappy, are the Honorable Mention of the daily corgi's 2011 Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest. I am a little bit surprised because this time I didn't want to bother anyone to vote for them and didn't expect to win anything. Great way to start Monday morning :-)
This is their photo I submitted for the contest.…

Jeter and Cappy won! Continue
Voting ended 10 pm yesterday. Jeter won the small dog division of a Halloween costume photo contest at our doggy daycare center. He got 119 votes. Cappy is the runner up(99 votes).
It was an up and down experience but your support got me through this and I am very grateful. I feel so much love and power from mycorgi.com friends. I think this is a bonus I got from being a corgi owner. My husband Andrew says thank you too. Next year we will…

It has been a quite stressful week for me.
As some of you know, I made 2 costumes for my corgis - Jeter and Cappy- for a Halloween costume photo contest at our doggy daycare center. I never made anything like this for my corgis before and am not good at sewing, so it took about 2 weeks. Even though it wasn't an easy project for me, I had so much fun making them and dreaming of reactions from other people.
But once the contest voting started, everything changed - not… Continue

Recently we got a postcard from a pet boutique store about their new store's 'Grand Opening Weekend'.
- We don't know how they got our address and name for the promotion postcard.
This weekend it offered free nail trimming, free giveaways and discounts.
So we took Jeter there today. (Cappy is still too young to go to the pet store.)
The store is nice , clean and the sales associates are very friendly.
There were many dogs in the store but Jeter was the one who got all… Continue

Last Friday(June 18th) we brought a beautiful red-and-white corgi girl into our life.
This 12 weeks old corgi puppy is our second corgi and Jeter's new baby sister.
Her name is 'Cappy' from captain :-)

Last year June 13th was the day Jeter came into our life.
It's been a wonderful year with him so yesterday we celebrated his first anniversary.
His day started early with his usual weekend-5 mile-morning-run with us on the forest trail.
After coming back home happy and a little bit tired, he had a short sweet nap while we went out for brunch.
When we came back he watched the Yankees game with us.
Then we took him to a pet shop ("doggy style") and got some… Continue

Our corgi Jeter was a shedder.
When we hugged or just petted him before a lot of fur comes off and we were literally covered with his fur.
Nothing was safe from his hairballs in our house and we used the lint rollers like crazy.
But those days are gone. Jeter does not shed any more :-)
Along with "no shedding", his poop is not stinky. His coat looks really good.
are not sure what exactly makes our little shedding machine to stop shedding but just assume that new food… Continue

Today I started to mix new 'customized' food to Jeter's old food(Wellness).
The new one is a trial package(2.5 lb) of RedMoon dog food.
We went to the Pet Expo on March 21st and when we stopped at this company's booth, they had a free trial promotion.
We didn't know many things about this food but after speaking with the representative, the product sounded good enough to try. And it was for free :-)
There are not that many reviews on the internet about this food but the… Continue

This is our first day as a member of mycorgi.com :-)
So let us tell you about our little captain.
Everything started when someone offered us a female corgi in May.
We were exited because the corgi is one of my (Chris') favorite dog breeds along with the German Shepherd.
So we were kind of prepared to get that corgi but they decided to keep her.
Disappointed but determined to get a corgi, we started an online search and found 'Lakeshore… Continue
