I have been so neglectful of my MyCorgi.com friends!
Life, friend and family weddings, job changes, and house hunting really get in the way of my social/internet time. :P

So as some of you know Nate, Roslyn, and I adopted an 8week old corgi/cattle dog mix back in Jan. I can't believe how much Oona has grown!

I couldn't have asked for a better playmate for Roslyn! They are two peas in a pod!

Sadly there is never any photographic evidence as they are always on the move and I have millions of pictures like these:

I know, I know... I am crazy talented as a photographer! ... I should switch careers and live to take lopsided graduation photos or wedding photos that cut the heads of the bride and groom. :P

At the end of the day, it all comes down to the sleeping cuddle picture anyway...

@Jane: Thanks, life is good!
@Rachel:  I think I remember you drawing a bunch of "this is what my imaginary dog Waffle will look like" pictures. If I am correct, I am so happy you finally got your puppy... but I miss your cartoons!
@John: My husband and I thought so too... Oona is about the same height as Roslyn, but only 12 pounds. It could be due to the mother (the pem) being so tiny. I believe she was around 15 pounds.
As for treats working for Brides and Grooms, This picture was only accomplished by putting peanut butter on my husbands cheek:
@Bev: Thank you for such a glowing recommendation! I couldn't agree with you more! :P

Thanks for sharing! I know what you mean about the photography I have lots of pictures of a foot or butt on it's way through the frame. I can attest to Roslyn's beauty and Oona's cuteness having met them in person.

Mmmm, doing the math -- 7 months old, and still no bigger than a Pem?  I'd have expected a corgi/cattle dog mix to be a bit bigger by now, with only one leg-dwarfing gene.  Way cool coat and tail. Looks like a very lively little beastie.

Let an assistant brandish the dog treat behind the camera; this can immobilize the dog long enough to get the whole animal in the frame.  Works with brides & grooms, too.

Also, all of your dogs are adorable. What a handsome fluff. :D You must have been gone a long time because I don't remember seeing you here, and I've been here for 1.5 years haha.
