Please keep good thoughts for Katie tomorrow. She has a growth on her right front leg and it's being removed. It doesn't feel like a fatty cyst but it's not attached to the bone so that is good. The vet wasn't sure so he wants to remove it and then send it to pathology.
Katie will be 11 next month, she is such a sweet girl...loving and a total velcro dog. Your good thoughts will be much appreciated.

Good luck. Hopefully it. Won't be too serious.
Thank you all for your good thoughts. We brought her home about 4 yesterday afternoon, I had to wait until hubby got home from work, thanks to my back I can't lift her in and out of the car. She was limping but handled the E-collar pretty well, she has yet to learn how to use it as a pillow like Max did. Poor girl can't fit into her crate with it on, she tried. She is crated at night because she is real pain when you are trying to sleep. I spent last night on the couch. At one point I didn't see her so went looking, she had jumped up on my chair and was sleeping there. Geesh....Mark said last night when he let them out she heard the dog behind us out and she went tearing down the ramp and jumped off the side of it. I have the stairs blocked so she won't try to come up here with the collar on.
The 2 vets who operated on her could not tell what it was...fat or connective tissue so they recommended that it be sent for testing. Not sure how long it will be before we get the results. Again, thank you for the good thoughts.
Praying it turns out to be nothing major.....
Good thoughts sent your way!!!!
Sorry to hear that Linda, I sure hope the outcome is good for Katie and that she recovers well.
