Murphy turned one year old on December 26th and I cannot believe it. I remember when I found his breeder's website and I saw his cute little puppy face. I knew that he was the one I wanted. I showed Chris while he was at work and he just happened to pick the same puppy that I did. I knew it was meant to be. He was meant to be ours. I'll never forget how excited I was to pick him up from the airport. I waited and waited all day in anticipation to get him, but we had to wait till 11 PM because his plane wasn't landing till then and we had to drive like an hour to the airport and I had class the next day. It was February 24th that he officially became ours, but we knew before then that he was ours. Now he's exactly where he belongs. Here with his family in his nice, warm house with a snow covered yard to plow through, food to keep his belly full and water constantly there for him to drink whenever he pleases. He's truly a lucky pup and I'm pretty sure he knows it too. Sometimes I'll be walking around the house downstairs and he'll be no where in sight, I'll check every room, the window seat where he likes to snooze, the bathroom, kitchen, every where and still no Murphy. Then I'll run upstairs to our room and he'll be napping on our bed. He's just so perfect for us and I'm truly blessed to have him here with us. He makes me laugh almost all the time, he's one of my best friends and I tell him things I never tell anyone else. He's the best secret keeper and the best listener. I love him so much.
