...his stomach is as tight a s a drum. He is a 3 year-old male, but looks pregnant. Labored movements. He looks so pitiful. He can't go up or down stairs. I have to carry him outside to do his business. Daily diarrhea. Still has appetite though (He's on Wellness Adult). The vet told us to get Zantax, and said to bring him in if he doesn't get better over the weekend, but I can't bare watch him suffer. I wish there was something I could do......

Anyone ran into this?

You are at the top of our prayer list and we are so glad you did not wait to see the doc.

Awh! Poor guy.

I feel for him.

I would take him to the vet. (Vets are just like doctors, I swear! "Oh, something potentially fatal? Let's see if it goes away on it's own." Well, in my experiences at least. Bahaha)

Anyhow, that would be me though over most things abnormal:/ I am a severe worry wart about those I care for.

Seriously Michael?  What do you have against the USA?  I think that before you pass judgement, maybe you should live here.  I have the greatest, most caring vet I have ever met.  Lets just stick to the well wishes for Tod, and leave the country bashing out of it.

Oh boy.   Amazing how one little observation on the internet can be interpreted by someone as a sweeping generalization of this nature.  He was only commenting that he's read lots about bad vets over here in the states on the internet.  I don't think he was denigrating the entire American way of life or anything of the sort.

Just for the record, I think I've only ever run across 2 good vets here in the US, out of 4 states, and about 10 different practices.

It's hardly the first time he's made comments like that. He used to post on another forum I visit and I see nothing has changed in his attitude.

Ahhh, I see.  That makes more sense now :).

Wishing for a positive outcome for Tod. Healing prayers for him. Hope it all turns out well. Hope they do blood work also.

Tod, I will be praying all goes well on Monday.

Alison, I have passed along your (and other mycorgi.com members') love to Tod. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your prayers. We need a miracle....and I believe it'll happen.

Aww, poor Tod.  Fingers, toes and paws all crossed here that Monday goes well.  It will be agony waiting and worrying for you too, I'm sure.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Tod.

I hope they are able to help him.  :(  Feel better, Tod!
