Sparty is improving

Sparty is doing much better and gets his stitches out Wednesday. His paw is a little skinny but doesn't seem to have affected his mobility. I can not wait to be able to resume walks!

The stitches are out and Sparty can start taking walks again!!! We have to continue to watch so he doesn't lick the incision too much and use the cone when we are not home for a little while longer but at least he can get back to normal. My vet confirms that they appear to have gotten all of the cancer and it is not a type that should reoccur. He is just going to leave a funny footprint for the rest of his life.

Sparty's looking pretty dang good :).It won't be long before You All are at there walking together.Our friends had their first radiation on their Westie today.So far,so good.Hang in there !!

The stitches are out and Sparty had his first short walk around the block yesterday. He thoroughly enjoyed catching up on his P-Mail ! I have not used the cone of shame as he is doing well at not licking the spot too much. Eventually the hair will grow back and it won't be too noticeable I think. Thanks everyone for your positive wishes, it really helps to have people that understand the value of furry family members.
