Hey everyone. I am planning to take our 7 year old corgi Roslyn to the vet tomorrow morning.
I notice some odd behaviors that I was hoping you might help me understand better.

She tries to get comfortable, but every time she lays down her back legs keep kicking uncontrollably. She whines a little gets up and tries to find a more comfortable spot. As she stands she lifts her back legs one at a time and balances on three legs. Sorry this is hard to explain.

She has never done this before. No changes in diet, exercise, or conditions. Michigan is unseasonable warm this year, so I doubt the cold is bothering her. I thought she might have hurt her leg running, but she is uncomfortable on both sides and I am afraid it might be her back. The uncontrolled shaking and kicking scares the heck out of me.

Any suggestions, or opinions are welcome. Please keep Rozi in you T's and P's!

I agree it sounds like her back.  Will keep you in our thoughts and prayers...keep us updated.

She might have injured her back. I wonder if an acupuncturist can help?  Good luck Roz!!

So sorry that it may be a back problem.I was looking back in time in Your blog and noticed she had a bout of pain last summer. That yip she let out and was stuck/clingy to You then.Maybe she hurt it then, poor baby :(.Take care

Aw poor girl, take her in and have her evaluated, from the others it does sound like back. Let us know what the vet says! Buddha and Maddie send corgi hugs

Update:
Probably a pulled muscle, maybe some early hip arthritis. Bed rest and some meds, with further evaluation next week. I'm going to have a tough time slowing my girl down, but I'm happy that it sounds like a quick mend!

Thanks everyone for the T&P's!

Glad it's not her back:) Good luck slowing her down!

We need a daily update   How is she today and more pretty pictures please
