I cannot believe this. This morning Corgi is almost back to her normal self. She is a happy camper. Her sister Brooke is on anti inflammatory medication so I started to give Corgi one this morning and it was a miracle. The vet says to give her half twice a day. Looks as though she had fluid in her knee and this took care of it, for now anyway. What a difference in a 24 hour period. Again, everyone, thanks for your concern and positive feedback. She could have not have her leg amputated because of her prior surgeries on her hips. Lot's of prayers went out as well. Marianne

Great news!  Hope the good results continue!

So good to hear, prayers that improvement continues.

I know she has spurs but it's possible that acupuncture would control the pain.  My Max has a bad calcification in his neck so much so that he couldn't turn his head and was in constant pain.  I could not afford the $10K+ for surgery that wasn't sure to be a fix. I was going to have to make a decision, I couldn't leave him in that kind of pain.  Someone suggested acupuncture.  So far it has given me 4 more wonderful years and he is still going strong at the age of 12.  Talk to your vet...it could be just the thing to help her.

I am so happy for you and your little pup! Great news!

WONDERFUL:)

Hello everyone,

Corgi is still doing fine. She is off pain medication now and holding up really good. Hard to believe how sick she was just a few short days ago. We are so very grateful for her improved condition. Again, thank you all for your concern and positive feedback. Have a great Sunday and may God bless you and yours, including the pups. Marianne

Glad your dog is doing better :)
