For the second day in a row Pebble has given me watery poop to clean up on the carpet as a morning surprise : (

Before she occasionally had had diarrhea problems due to over excitement or getting something that is not supposed to be in her mouth.

This time I'm really not sure what's the cause. I'm thinking it might be:

1. Suddenly change of weather and she caught cold?
2. She caught cold after shower? (which was 3 days ago, the night before her first diarrhea)
3. I did not refrigerate her opened can food? (over the last two days the weather here in LA is freezing so I didn't put her wet food in the refrigerator)

I really hope this problem won't continue because next week I have to send her out for boarding because I will be leaving town for holidays.

Thank you & Happy Holidays!

Do you keep her open unrefrigerated canned food in a place less than 40 degrees? That is what a fridge should be or less. If it 70 or so in your house the food could get bad.
Well, it's her soften (with water) puppy dry food mixed with a small amount of can food stored in a zip lock bag.

I dumped that bag of food already. If the problem perpetuates, I'm going to take her to the vet tomorrow.
try feeding her a little organic canned pumpkin it should absord any excess water in her system and firm her poo for you =)
When one of ours has that I skip a meal and then feed a little non-fatty meat mixed with rice for a day or two. It gives their GI trac a chance to calm down.
