I was hoping we wouldn't have to run into this problem until later, but mother nature threw us Floridians another curveball this evening with heavy thunderstorms... which for Olive translated too "I need to go potty!" I'm surprised at how well potty trained she is already, because Jess said she ran to the other side of the house after seeing/hearing the rain and around a corner before she squated AND arched her little back... poor thing! Jess said she came back around the corner with sad eyes and head down, knowing she had done something she shouldn't have done in the house. Couldn't really take her outside though with the lightning, even though she was softly barking at the door to let Jess know she needed to go out. What's the best thing to do in these situations? Jess and I agreed not to scold her, as there's really not a whole lot we could do. Any suggestions and help are welcomed! Hopefully by the summer when she's 6mths old she'll be able to hold it longer... yes?
