As of April 24th...Rainy will be heading east to New York with her new family....Joanna (and Algy)along with her parents are traveling to MN to pick her up. We all are VERY excited and I am very happy as Rainy will have a great new family!!!!!!!

I have finally come to my decision after 6 months of "thinking" that as much as I love this dog I want her to be somebodies favorite and I just don't have enough time to give her the special attention she deserves! Rainy is an absolute sweetheart that wants to be loved and be by your side! She is very good and has no issues other than barking and getting over excited when I get home! A perfect place for her would be a home with a person who is home most of the time and has 1 other dog. She loves to run and play plus needs this to stay in shape. I am asking that anyone interested in her would have to fill out my rescue questioneer even if she isn't a rescue. I bought and have had Rainy since she was 8 weeks old, I was going to breed her but she is just too needy(not a bad thing...just not what would be good for a breeding female) She is spayed and of coarse "free" to a qualifying home! I would request emails about how she's doing also! She is up to date on all shots and in good health! Rainy lives in  southern Minnesota!

Good luck finding Rainy a new home! Sometimes I worry about Lyla, she sounds a lot like Rainy. She does fine with me and the other dogs, but she really and truly thrives when she's one on one with a person. With Sky layed up and Brando spending a lot of time outside on the grass to help his legs grow right, she has been a phenomenal dog. I could even tell a marked difference in obedience class on Saturday. I don't know that I could ever make the decision to rehome her. Kudos to you for being able to make a tough decision, it shows how much you love Rainy!
Thanks! I really do love her and it's really hard BUT if she finds the right home...she will be so happy and so will I!
Good luck Jane! I know you have her best interests at heart. She sure is cute but I am at my max with furry love too.
How would she do with two other females?
Jennifer,
I believe she would do wonderful as she lives with 3 other females right now.She loves to run and play. I have never seen her be mean and she has to put up with 2 unspayed breeding females! She just has to share so much right now!

All are beautiful and happy!!! : )
Does she do OK with larger breeds? I have a German Shepherd mix and then Seanna. They both do well with other dogs...
I don't take Rainy too many places but she has always gotten along well with my rescues...here are 2 of the big dogs that she plays with and she stays at my girlfriends once in awhile and she has a Great Pyranese(sp).

Rainy is sitting here but she didn't get in the pic! Sorry I couldn't get the pic turned!
She sounds very sweet. I hope you find her a lovely home.
Oh Jane, I am sure this is so difficult for you, I know you have put so much thought into what is right for Rainy. I am sure that you will
make the right decision and find the perfect home for her. Good luck....
Thank you Terri...I still wonder...but I want her to be happy and it's not that she isn't but I think she could have a better life with more attention with someone else and she loves attention!
