Does anybody else have a corgi that barks non-stop anytime there is an animal on TV. Mine will run up to the TV anytime there is an animal or animal sounds heard. He growls and barks like he's going to jump through the TV set and eat up what ever he can get. I can't watch the animal channel or any movie such as Marley and me. It's not just limited to dogs but anything with 4 legs.

My sister has a Cocker/King Charles mix that does this. You'd think the devil was after him if he sees an elelphant on TV. Those are especially bad and he'll go around and try to look behind the TV. The Dog Whisperer? Can't hear yourself think when that's on. In contrast, my Bubba could care less what or who's on TV. He's as stoic as summer nights are long. Not much bothers him...except, don't drop anything or he'll take off to his crate!! :)
Ginger will bark at the TV if she hears a dog bark, but she usually just stays where ever she is and barks.  She doesn't attack the TV.
Henry will go crazy if there's a dog on TV. Makes it really hard to watch any Animal Planet shows lol.
Waffle has become very TV-sensitive lately. I can't play my favorite video games because the main characters are animals. He will stare and growl at the TV. Barking at the TV when it's a show with dogs in it is to be expected. But, he was even growling at The Lion King last night! :0
Caius will look around if he hears an animal noise or barking on the TV, but never barks back.
Maddie barks if a tv dog barks, and Jack barks if he hears a tv doorbell. Other than that, they ignore it.
Ours bark madly at other dogs and Ragnar in particular hates the sound of birds and horses on TV.  We're trying to teach them "it's ok, it's on TV" so they stop.  It works pretty well.
The worst was a "Seinfeld" episode with a dog that never appeared. Jerry was stuck caring for a horrible dog that was only represented by clearly (to my ears) fake barking. Both dogs spent a half hour going nuts, running between TV and backyard. When the squeaky toy was introduced, Lilli finally figured out it was in the TV. Oliver (an outdoor dog being rehabilitated as an indoor dog) had to investigate all the TV equipment looking for it. Avoid this episode at all costs!

My Sassy will run to the TV, bark, and try to bite the animals that are on.  She does this with all types of animals even though she has never seen them in real life.  She will run to the TV when certain commercials are on and waits for the animal to appear.  She goes crazy for the Beggin Bacon commercial and it only shows the dog's nose at the beginning,   She definiately watches too much TV.  She was with me one day in the bedroom when an animal came on the TV.  The TV in the bedroom is up too high for her, so ran down the hall and attacked the TV in the living room. I think she knows how to count to 4.  Friends and family think she's a riot!! It is pretty funny to see her "attack" the TV animals.  She also does it to the computer screen.

YES!!!! Anything that is one four legs or remotely furry is fair game. Animal planet or Cesar Milan - forget about it. Kids movies like Cats and Dogs or Furry Vengeance - doesn't happen anymore:)
Ill behavior is ill behavior (IMO), and I treat this the same as if it were reality and not TV - that is what the dog is doing, treating the TV as if it were 'real'.  By allowing it, we're setting the dog up by assuming THEY know the difference when (I think, obviously) they don't.  It's a logical segue for them to take that level of posturing INTO reality - particularly when they're being encouraged & rewarded for it (when we humans find it entertaining).
