My baby is a bit over weight. Aside from exercise, which sadly enough I'm very busy so it gets tough to get her out, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get her down a few pounds? Thanks!

Regular walks, cut back on food to !/3 cup twice a day with a handful of green beans might do it. It works for my Izzy when she gets a little porky.
Ditto to Bev's message below. The green bean diet has worked for my Corgi - it takes time - losing the weight is harder than gaining. You might also consider hiring a dog walker to come by. There are a lot of professional dog walkers in Florida. You can find one through the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. You can do a search for dog walkers in your area. Prices vary but generally range $15/20 dollars a walk. Cheaper if you buy in packages. Might be worth a look, at least. You definately don't want an unhealthy corgi - all kinds of problems can result, including hip problems and diabetes. Good luck!!
Bev's suggestion on food is perfect! In addition, I would replace higher-calorie treats with a mix of Charlie Bear treats, maybe the occasional Cheerio or broken up rice-cake, and slices of baby carrots. Once the weight comes down, you can reintroduce one larger treat for teeth cleaning every few days. Really limit the snacks, though!
Another easy exercise for her would be to throw the "fetch it" You would need to start out slow but it is great for once a day work out ! She still needs to get exercise by walking but this can be a 5 min. mini workout! All has been said about the food by others!
Our Po got a but chubby over winter and he gets a lot of exercise. We've cut down on his treats and made the decision (with consent from our vet) to put him on a weight loss food as we'd already cut back his normal food drastically- if we cut back much more he'd be eating a pitiful amount of kibble. We opted not to switch to another brand entirely as Po is a bit picky with his food, he only eats certain brands (the one he's on is the only decent brand he'll eat)
