I thought this to be funny, hope its not a problem that I need to correct. We where feeding Sophie out of a stainless steel bowl which was rather light, and as soon as she is done eathing she picks it up and carrys it around. This past weekend I baught new matching water and food bowls. Nice heavy ceramic ones, at least I thought they where heavy. I figured there is no way she will be able to pick that up. WELL, apparently its not to heavy for our 11 week old Corgi, as soon as she was done eating off she went with the bowl. I take it away from her as soon as she is done, but each day she still does it. Do you think this is something I should stop her from doing or is it harmless

As long as she isn't chewing the bowl, I wouldn't worry about it. ;) I would, however, switch back to stainless steel. The last thing you want is for her to chip a tooth, chip the bowl and end up swallowing a piece or her getting cut because it fell and broke.
I'd go back to the stainless also. Most ceramic dog bowls are made in China(lead) plus at least she can't get a chunk off the stainless.
Izzy likes to carry bowls around too and I let her for a minute and then take it back. However, I have two other dogs and I do not want to encourage any obsession with the food bowl.
Tommy enjoyed putting his foot in the water and food bowls and pushing them around the floor. When he got big enough I bought one of the little stands that raises the bowls up off the ground - it has a little clip that keeps the bowls in place. It is perfect because he can't play with the bowls anymore!
